Hi, I’m Trysten Huang, a graphic designer and rising fourth-year student at Arizona State University’s Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.

My design practice is rooted in curiosity, care, and an openness to change. I believe good design starts with asking honest questions, allowing unexpected ideas to surface, and staying present in the process—not just focused on outcomes. For me, growth isn't passive, it's something you step into. The most meaningful work happens when you're willing to be moved, challenged, and changed by what you make.

I’m drawn to clear visual systems, thoughtful typography, and work that communicates with intention. Whether I’m building out a brand identity or sketching through half-formed ideas, I treat accidents, failures, and side paths as part of the process—not detours. Design is never a straight line, and I like it that way.

I’m always learning, always unlearning, and always designing from a place of possibility.
