A conceptual brand identity for a Japanese-founded climbing company focused on clarity, discipline, and movement. Rooted in minimalist design and cultural tradition, the project includes a custom symbol, packaging, and digital applications—all built around the idea of essential gear that gets out of the way.
The identity centers on a typography-first approach, using abstraction and visual restraint to create a system that feels both lengthy and leg-like inspired by the meaning of Kumo (spider) in japanese. The brand aims to embody focus, flexibility, and quiet intensity—values that mirror both the climb and the climber.
